Gendyliss (Gen)

Founder of Elevated pilates & Certified in Comprehensive Pilates across all apparatus

With over 20 years of experience in both athletic and classical Pilates, Gen brings a rare blend of strength, grace, and soul to every session. The profound transformation she experienced - physically, mentally, and spiritually - planted the seed for what would one day become her own sanctuary for mindful movement. While serving as a New York City police officer, Gen continued practicing Pilates as a personal refuge and form of self-care. Now retired from the NYPD, she remains as vibrant and energized as ever, channeling her strength and resilience into building a space where everyone can thrive. What started as a hobby evolved into a calling, and eventually a community. Elevated Pilates is the realization of that vision. A soulful welcoming space dedicated to holistic living, purposeful movement, and personal transformation. Gendyliss's approach is rooted in authenticity, community, and a deep belief that movement is medicine for the body, mind, and spirit.
